Peace Action Staten Island is a chapter of Peace Action New York State. Peace Action of New York State and the Peace Action Fund of New York State are the New York affiliates of Peace Action.

National Peace Action
We share a vision of world peace in which: the menace of nuclear weapons has forever been erased from our planet, war has been abolished as a method of solving conflicts, all human beings are assured the wherewithal to live in health and dignity, and no one is denied the opportunity to participate in making decisions that affect the common good.
Peace Action is the nation's largest grassroots peace network with chapters and affiliates in states across the country. We organize our network to place pressure on Congress and the Administration through write-in campaigns, Internet actions, citizen lobbying and direct action. Through a close relationship with progressive members of Congress, we play a key role in devising strategies to move forward peace legislation. As a leading member of various coalitions, we lend our expertise and large network to achieving common goals.
The Peace Action Fund of New York State
Peace Action is dedicated to promoting the non-violent resolution of conflict, the abolition of nuclear weapons, halting the global spread of conventional arms, building a human rights culture and supporting human needs instead of militarism. We pursue these goals through the production and dissemination of educational materials for the public, activists and policy makers, as well as through community organizing initiatives and public outreach. The Peace Action Fund of New York State is a non-partisan, non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
The Peace Action New York State
Peace Action New York State is a 501(c)4 membership organization that uses lobbying and direct political action to complement the work of the Peace Action Fund of New York State. We have a hundreds of members and chapters around New York State. As a grassroots organization our local chapters take a large lead in determining our agenda.
